Chrome Couldn't Load Plug-in Issue - FIX 2016 - Adobe Flash Player

An error that has been building and building so it seems, 3 possible fixes below

1. Incompatible Adobe Flash and Chrome Versions (e.g 32 bit chrome 64 bit java , 64bit chrome 32 bit java)

 Goto Help -> About Google Chrome and confirm your version

Now confirm that you have the matching 64 bit java plugin installed otherwise you will get the Couldn't load Plugin message.

Another way to confirm your plugin versions is to check in 
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash\23.0.0.versionno

Check the file Size , 32bit = around 15-17mb  and 64bit = 29mb +

You can now confirm this in program files to ensure the correct version is being used by the installed applications in
 C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\53.0.versionno.143\PepperFlash

If the file sizes don't match then there is your issue.

2. Delete Pepperflash folder or Deny permissions on folder

Navigate to 
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash

- Delete any folders within the PepperFlash folder
- Close and Reopen Chrome

Another option is to deny the user permissions to the PepperFlash folder there by preventing them from recreating the folder within PepperFlash which is causing the issues


3. Disable Adobe Flash Plugin

visit chrome://plugins in your browser

Disable Adobe Flash Player , Chrome will then revert back to its inbuilt player (some content may not be shown correctly) but will work for most
